Who is the author of this text?Norman Bilbrough

Some of the stories that are written by Norman Bilbrough are: 
Arms (1991); Desert Shorts (1999), and Dog Breath and other Stories (1999), for young adults. His young adult novel, The Birdman Hunts Alone was an Aim Book Award finalist in 1995. He has twice won the Sunday Star Times Short Story Award, and his stories have appeared in numerous anthologies. In 1999 he was Writer in Residence at Canterbury University. His chapter books have been published overseas, and he is a regular contributor to the School Journals and radio. His adult novel, A Short History of Paradise was published in 2005. He is a creative writing teacher and manuscript assessor, and he lives in Wellington. Most of the books he writes are fictional

Why do you think he wrote this text?He wrote this text because to tell people about how the Earth will be if we didn't take care of it properly. The greenhouse effect is a process by which thermal radiation from a planetary surface is absorbed by atmospheric greenhouse gases, and is re-radiated in all directions.
