ICC Cricket

Yesterday on Sunday the 29th of March New Zealand and Australia played each other and on the final Australia kept on catching the ball and they were starting to win and then New Zealand, it went wrong for New Zealand and they kept on going hard but Ausralia was just too good and then the final hit Australia won by 7 wickets.

Today I learnt that everybody is intelligent and has the seven smarts which are picture smart, word smart, body smart, number smart, people smart, music smart and self smart. 

We also did some problem solving. We had some nails and then a nail was stuck on a piece of wood and we had to try and put all the nails on the middle nail and then who ever figured it will get a prize from Caroline.

We also did this cool activity where one person stands in the middle of a circle of six people. The six people have to say something nice about the person in the middle. Today was Fraser and the six people were Fusi, Dasharn, Chris, Aarmione, Fineasi and Dora. They all said something positive about Fraser which was great. Last week I was in the middle and I felt really good when people were saying nice things about me.

Petia drew Flash for us and we really like his art work. Mrs Tofa is keeping the art work safe so we can display it around the school. 

Butterfly creek

On Monday we went to butterfly creek to learn about the animals at butterfly creek. Our bus came and we didn’t know it was our bus because it was upgraded and had new stuff like a toilet and a tap and different color and it was tall as. When we got to butterfly creek the first thing we had was morning tea the lady told us to put our bags away and then we started eating our food. After morning tea the lady took us through the butterfly creek and we saw dinosaurs that were fake and then we went on the train and we had a ride with the lady on the train and then we saw some dinosaurs and we saw a dinosaur that you can put rubbish in. We also saw a jurassic park golf cart that could turn and drive and then we saw people on the ropes and we thought that we would go but we couldn’t go because we didn’t pay for the rocket ropes.

After going on the train we went to the butterfly and it was really hot and it smelled like butterflies and we couldn’t breath then finally we went out and we went to a cold and nice place and then we saw crocodiles called goldie and scar and then we went to the aquarium and we saw fishes like nemo and nemos dad and mum and then we saw nemos dads friend dory. The we went to see the crocodiles again and then we went for lunch. When we finished our lunch we waited for room 9 to come and then they finished and then we put our bags away and then we went to watch a crocodile show with scar the crocodile and Paul and Roberto the humans.

At the show we were told not to lean on the rails because the crocodile might jump 3 meters in the air and it might give you a fright and then you fall in the water and it might eat you to death and Roberto gave it some fish and it got it and then it jumped and it missed and then it jumped again and then Roberto came with the fishes head and we saw scar jumping high as and then the show was finished and then we went to get our bags and we had to go back to school because it was nearly home time.

I enjoyed the trip on the bus and I liked the butterfly creek and I didn’t enjoyed because people were pictures of me.
