My day in room 8

Today I did not go to the trip so I went to room 8 with Mafoa, Miami and Fineasi.M first we sat on the mat and it was Tumanako's 9 birthday and we sang happy birthday and clapped nine time because she was 9 years old. Then we started doing our work and it was morning tea time and we played soccer and the other team lost so bad they asked for a fight but we knew that we were tougher than them so we left them alone.

Science Intensive Week - Week 10

Today at room 9 we we were learning about chemical reactions and physical reactions we had to research all these things in our chromebooks. When we were finished, we did some work on these paper and we had activity A and activity B then we had morning tea and we put the mentos into the Diet coke but we didn't get to taste any then we were finished

Today at maths we had maintenance and my strategy for 0.6+0.6 = was

Woodtech with Mr.Grudy

Today at woodtech we did drawing with joints and we had to use wood to draw what ever we like to draw I drawed a racing car that said Ricardo 4 and Mr Grudy said that it was a rubbish car and it was to big so I had to draw another car that was smaller but my other friends said that he was annoying and grumpy and then I gave my drawing to him and he said it was the worst drawing he has ever seen.
When the session was finished I said sorry to him for playing with the metal thing and he said I'm a little idiot. The end

Zeus and the gods Mythical myth

Long ago they lived man called Cronus and he had sons that were Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Demeter and Hera. So one time Cronus’s father swallowed him and Zeus wanted to be the boss so they had a showdown and all them lost but Poseidon was left and they had a epic battle but at the end Zeus became the one and only strongest Greek god he beat up the roman gods like Apollo Neptune a god like Poseidon who Poseidon smashed and won a battle.

When it Zeus’s birthday his brother Poseidon and siblings, Hades, Hestia, Demeter and Hera arrange a party for him in the castle and when Zeus came he saw Jupiter and Poseidon saw Neptune and they went to battle them and Zeus nearly got beaten up by Jupiter and he got his trident before Jupiter got his own trident and struck lightning at him and Jupiter got defeated and Zeus went to his castle and they started their god party. The End

WALT - understand that myths and legends of a culture work to explain the world.

Literal
Describe Ngake and Whataitai the taniwha?Ngake was a strong taniwha and a very good hunter who could hunt people like a wolf and he had lots of energy.

What did the birds say was special about the sea?The sea is deep and vast and wide and many different fish hide under the rocks.

Why did the taniwha decide they needed to break free of the lake? The sea is the home of Tangaroa, of Hinemoana and many others.

Which taniwha broke free from the lake first? Ngake was the first to break free from the lake.

Why was Whataitai unable to break free from the lake like his brother? He was unable to break free because he wasn’t as strong and fit as his brother.

Why was Whataitai waiting for the tide to come in? He was waiting for the tide to come to carry him across but it made him go too high and he took and he took his final breath and died.

What did Whataitai’s spirit transform into? He’s spirit transformed into a bird called Te Keo.

Queens Birthday

On monday we had no school and I was really happy because we had no school work all we had to do was stay home and relax, me and my brothers went brush our teeths and had a shower and had breakfast and then we went to the lounge and started playing FIFA 14.


I beat them and had all the turns and then they got really angry and teamed up by using three controlers one of them was red and the other brother was yellow then they said press B to each other but my goalkeeper was too good and they only had one goal.


Next they got tired and we played boxing and racing on the KINECT and they beated me at racing but I beat them on boxing at King of the ring because they couldn’t beat my highscore so we played  NBA 2k14 and they didn’t know any skills so I went easy on them and they got better and I showed them how to do the skills on the Xbox 360 controler

Then my mum called us for lunch and we had 2 patties each with rice and chicken and some Coke and then we played outside and my mum was watching television and the after a hour we went to my room and we played WWE 2k14 and I went to sleep because I was tired and they continued playing while my mum was on my netbook.

Madd Diary

Today Petia came to our school and he gave us the cards of the sessions we’ve been through and then he also gave us a key holder so that we can keep the cards in them. The first one we had was Leaders know who they are and Know your GREETING Know your values Know your Tradition Express IT whenever you can .

Then the next one was UTALK You are special and called for greatness and Leader are intelligent that was about the 7 smarts that was picture smart, word smart, body smart, number smart, people smart, music smart and self smart. Then after that Petia drawed Iron Man. And we put inside mrs raj’s office.
